SECTION ONE - BACKGROUND & PROJECT INFORMATION
For my capstone experience, I collaborated with the Women's Resource Center. The Women's Resource Center (WRC) is committed to recognizing and celebrating the diverse representations of women on campus, encouraging and supporting personal growth, academic enrichment and professional development. The WRC offers advocacy and referral services, as well as educational programming and resources to help women reach their full potential. The Women's Resource Center is a place where women can be seen, heard, and believed.
The Women's Resource Center is a branch resource of the Department of Diversity and Community Involvement. The Department of Diversity and Community Involvement (DCI) offers many opportunities for students to learn, develop and find a place to belong. Through various programs and services, the DCI assists students with their transition to college, by engaging them in meaningful dialogue, helping them develop their leadership potential, and equipping them with the tools to become responsible global citizens. The Department of Diversity and Community Involvement encourages students to ask difficult questions, challenge the status quo and broaden the way they view themselves, the world and our campus community.
