One hour introduction period and contract construction with co-workers and student G.A. that overlooks the specific department to which I was assigned (Women Resource Center).
02/10/2022 - Assigned first task of communicating with department G.A. to schedule meeting for further job description and expectation clarification. Following communication with Genera Fields (Women Resource Center Graduate Assistant), Fields assigned a resource containing inclusive language information. The reading and discussion between Fields and I took an hour. For the remaining hour of my scheduled work time, I began construction of my project contract in preparation for my virtual meeting with Fields on Tuesday, Feb. 15.
02/15/2022 - Meeting with Genera Fields regarding management expectations, guidelines, and timelines. Genera and I decided on March 7th as the date I will gain access of the WRC Instagram account and initiate consistent content production. Login information, mission statement, and general guideline documents provided by Genera.

02/22/2022 - Accessed DCI event calendar for March to prepare Instagram promotion of Women's History Month events hosted by the DCI.
03/07 - 03/17/2022 - Received graphic template and social media guidelines from Genera regarding a WRC sponsored event for Women's History Month. Incorporated factual information and graphics regarding specific female trailblazers for daily content during week leading to the WRC event. During this time, one main post was created and published to the WRC Instagram feed as well as seven stories including Women's History Month content, event promotion and reminders.
03/14/2022 - Collaborated with the Ann Arbor Film Festival (AAFF) to promote the 60th anniversary of the AAFF. Published the provided graphics with the recommended promotion information for the event provided by the AAFF.

Interviewed two EMU students, acquiring information about their education at Eastern Michigan University, desired occupation, and motivational/inspirational influences in life. Utilizing the interview information, I created a professional template for the "Women of EMU" showcase that incorporates two graphics. One graphic contains a headshot of the showcased student, their declared major, minor (if applicable), and significant occupation/internship/extracurricular activity. The second graphic includes a personal quote or fun fact about the student.
03/31 - 04/07/2022 - Concluded capstone experience with final deliverables including:
-
Content calendar for Fall 2022 semester
-
Suggestions and methods toward Women's Resource Center content streamlining processes
